Refunds for onward tickets are simpler than for paid airline tickets, but the rules still surprise people. Here's exactly how it works.
Full refund: we couldn't deliver
If we accept your order and we can't deliver the reservation within 4 hours, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. This applies whether the failure was on our side, the airline's reservation system, or a route we don't cover.
You don't have to ask: when our team identifies an undeliverable order, the refund is automatic.
Service rendered: refund declined
Once the reservation is delivered to your inbox with a real PNR, the service has been performed. Even if you never use the document, even if your visa is denied, even if the trip is cancelled, the reservation existed in the airline's system and was verifiable.
There are two narrow exceptions:
- The PNR was invalid at delivery. If the booking reference fails to load on the airline's website at the moment we email it to you, that's a delivery defect and we refund.
- Wrong passenger name due to our error. If we typed the name incorrectly compared to what you submitted, we re-issue the reservation at no extra cost. If you typed the name incorrectly, we re-issue at a discounted rate.
Visa denials
Visa denials aren't a refundable event. The reservation we delivered satisfied the consulate's checklist. The denial happened for other reasons — finances, intent, prior travel history. We have no role in the visa decision and can't refund based on the outcome.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback for a delivered reservation, we'll dispute it with evidence the booking was real and verifiable at the time of delivery. Chargebacks for delivered services almost always fail and they cost both sides time. If you have a problem with your order, email us first — we resolve most issues within 24 hours.
Frequently asked questions
My visa interview was tomorrow and the reservation expired. Can I get a free re-issue?
Yes — within 7 days of the original order, we'll re-issue the reservation at no extra cost for the same trip. Just reply to your confirmation email.
I no longer need the reservation. Can I cancel?
You don't need to. Onward tickets aren't paid airline tickets — there's no fare to cancel. The reservation lapses on its own after 48 hours.
